Mission Project: Pillowcase Dresses

We are thrilled to invite you to a special women’s event where we will come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children through our Pillowcase Dress Mission! This mission project will support the Lataillade's with Living Word Ministries in Haiti. Click here to read about their ministry.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 9/21

Time: 9:00 AM

Location: Youth Lounge

Join us for a day of sewing, fellowship, and fun as we create beautiful pillowcase dresses for girls in need. These simple and colorful dresses will be distributed to children who could use a bit of extra love and care.

What to Bring:

• Pillowcases: We are collecting new or gently used pillowcases for the dresses through the church body. Feel free to bring in some pillowcases and/or material.
• Sewing Supplies: If you have sewing machines, thread, scissors, or other sewing notions, please bring them along. Don’t worry if you don’t have supplies; we will have extras available.
• A Heart for Service: No sewing experience is needed! We will provide instructions and support for all skill levels.

Additional Information:

• Refreshments: Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
• Volunteers: We welcome anyone who can help with setup, sewing, cutting, creating the tags for each dress or cleanup.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to use our talents for a great mission and connect with other women in our church community. Let's come together as we prepare to bless girls in need.
